Abstract (EN)
Propaclor is a pesticide of commonly used chloroacetanilide herbicide group. which are used to control weeds. Due to this usage, contamination occurs in underground water and soil resources. MIP were preferred for their advantages like high affinity, selectivity and strength in the removal and determination of pesticides. In this study, propaclor was used as a template in the crosslinked polymer. MIP synthesis is performed using the template molecule propachlor, functional monomer methacrylic acid, crosslinker EDGMA, solvent hexadecane, AIBN as initiator. Cryogels are good alternatives for separation and purification because of their adventages like short diffusion, low pressure, adsorption and elution quickly. MIP embedded cryogels were prepared by using, crosslinkers MBAAm, functional monomer HEMA, APS and TEMED as initiators. The structure of MIP was determined by SEM and FT-IR; MIP embedded cryogel structure was determined by using SEM. The highest adsorption capacity for MIP was 7,45 mg/ g, when 30 ppm propaclor was used and for MIP embedded cryogel was found to be 14,38 mg/g when 30 ppm propachlor was used. It was found that this value is higher than the adsorption capacity of MIP in this study and literature. When propachlor was bound to MIP embedded cryogel, kd value was found as 7.90x103M-1 and Qmax 26.15 mg/g. MIP embedded cryogels were used for adsorption and desorption of propaclor in environmental samples of which the concentrations was analyzed by HPLC. The study objective is to prepare a good chromatography material for the preconcentration by combining the advantages of MIP and cryogel.
