Abstract (EN)
Various radioisotopes are widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases in the field of nuclear medicine, and studies on alternative radioisotopes are still hot research topics. In this context, determining potential radioisotopes that can be alternatives for nuclear imaging and examining suitable production channels is essential work. In this thesis, radioisotopes being used or have the potential to be used in nuclear medicine were examined and possible proton-induced high-efficiency reaction channels were proposed for the production of 39Cl, 45Ti, 47Sc, 61Cu, 67Cu, 76Br, 95Ru, and 198Au radioisotopes. Calculations for the determined reaction channels were made with TALYS 1.95 and EMPIRE 3.2 nuclear simulation programs. The results obtained were discussed by comparing them with the data in the literature. In the calculations made for the relevant possible reaction channels, production cross-sections, reaction efficiencies, and total activity values were calculated up to 60 MeV proton beam energy. Radioisotopes that have the potential to be produced in accelerators have been proposed by determining the optimal proton beam energy ranges. It is evaluated that the data obtained from this thesis study can serve as a basis for the experimental studies that can be carried out at the accelerator center in our country.
