Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant relationship between psychological contract breach, burnout, and forgiveness in public institution employees and to determine the effect of independently selected variables on dependent variables. The most crucial aim of the research is to determine the moderator effect of forgiveness in the relationship between psychological contract breach and burnout. When the literature is examined, no study has been found that examines the moderator effect of forgiveness on the effect of psychological contract breach on burnout. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to the literature. The sample of the research consists of 471 public institution employees within the borders of Burdur province. In order to test the construct validity of the scales used in the research, the Amos program was used and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was performed. SPSS 22 statistical package program was used to analyze the obtained data. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the psychological contract breach negatively affected the acceptance of forgiveness but positively affected burnout. Acceptance of forgiveness was found to have a significant and negative effect on burnout. In addition, it was concluded that forgiveness had a moderating effect on the effect of psychological contract breach on burnout. Then, these results of the research are discussed and suggestions for future studies are given.
