Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the family in the stories and novels of Refik Halit Karay. Our study consists of three parts. In the introduction part, the relationship between literature and society and family institution are mentioned. The first part, life, literary personality and works of Refik Halit Karay are mentioned. In the second part, the relationship between parents and children, the relationship between spouses, deception, divorce and relatives are discussed under the title of family members. In the third part, the subject of education in the family, the economic status of familt, the value judgements, the effect of social environment on marriage and the corruption of the family are examined under the title of family and society.
