The institution of conciliation in competition law

In this study,the ""conciliation institution" introduced to the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition with the amendment of Law No. 7246 dated 16.06.2020 is examined. In this regard, first of all, the legal definition and elements of the conciliation institution are explained and its necessity and applicability in the field of competition law is revealed. The functioning of the conciliation institution in the field of competition law has been examined in detail within the framework of the Conciliation Regulation and the "conciliation decisions" published by the Competition Board. As a result of the study, legal problems were identified and solution suggestions were developed in order to increase the effectiveness of the reconciliation institution.
