Özet (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to examine whether there is a statistically significant difference between the subjective vitality and extraversion levels among individuals who decide on touristic and leisure activities and those who are affected. The data were collected with using the survey method, which is frequently used in quantitative research, and convenience sampling, which is a nonprobability sampling method. The information was collected from 388 people who participated in leisure activities in Istanbul. Demographic information is included in the first stage of the data. Exploratory factor analysis was applied in order to collect the variables, which are compatible with each other under a single factor. Afterwards, independent samples t-test analysis was applied to determine whether subjective vitality and extraversion characteristics showed significant difference between affected and influencers. Finally, correlation analysis was applied to detect the direction and severity of the relationship between the variables.
