A researh on the effect of employee sati̇sfacti̇on on corporate performance i̇n the pri̇nti̇ng house sector: The case of typographers i̇n the European Part of Istanbul

Economies based on competition regarding human factor as playing an important role in production have made significant progress in utilizing human resources effectively and efficiently. Human performance and productivity known as major source of organizations have the most important impact on organizations for reaching its main goal. In recent years, printing houses have emerged as a prominent sector in Turkey's economy by means of showing rapid development due to high employment figures. Thanks to the rapid development of employees' performance in the printing industry, this sector also attracts attentions. Through this study, it was realized in order for understanding the employee satisfaction effects on corporate performance and measuring as well as analyzing the level of awareness on affecting the performance of employees working for printing house sector in the European side of Istanbul. For this purpose, with dozens of printing houses from small to medium-sized which have 2643 workers, we tried to measure employees' satisfaction and its effects on organizational performance through questionnaire technique between August and December in 2013. A survey based research on the employees of printing house was applied to 436 of workers. The whole survey results were analyzed by means of "SPSS 21 for Windows" statistical program ,and all given answers were assessed by using cross-comparison. In this research, it has been examined the employee satisfaction that is affecting the organizational performance, and the results of this research were evaluated for the printing industry in the European side of Istanbul. With the help of this study, in printing house sector which gives high contribution to our economy, it has been found out that printing house workers' satisfaction in workplace environment has influences on the organizational performance.
