A research on the mediating role of team cohesion and knowledge sharing in the effect of spiritual leadership on service innovation behavior

The main purpose of study is to analyze the relationships between spiritual leadership, team cohesion, knowledge sharing and service innovation behavior. In this context, manufacturing enterprises in Aksaray Organized Industrial Zone are within the scope of this study to. In addition, it is to determine the role of mediation of team cohesion, and knowledge sharing effecting on spiritual leadership and service innovation behavior. For this purpose, quantitative analysis research methods were adopted. Open-ended questions were also used to support and to test the findings. The data collected from 359 employees who were employed in organized indusrial zone in Aksaray was analyzed. While confirmatory factor analysis was made use of for the valdity and reliability of the measurement tools, for the model's goodness of fit values, the AMOS Structural Equation Model was employed. It was found that spiritual leadership had a statistically significant effect on team cohesion, knowledge sharing and service innovation behavior. The results showed that team cohesion has a partial mediating effect on the impact of spiritual leadership over the service innovation behavior. The results showed that knowledge sharing does not have any mediating effect on the impact of spiritual leadership over the service innovation behavior. In view of its variables, it is considered that the study is to contribute to the literature and business.Key Words: Spiritual Leadership, Team Cohesion, Knowledge Sharing, Service Innovation Behavior
