In this study where basic qualitative design was used, first of all, 10 root values which were identified in the 2018 Turkish Language Teaching Program were taken as categories and these categories were divided into codes in the light of the findings which were obtained and the findings and comments were given over these determined codes. No evidence about patriotism was found. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the most important value in the works is honesty, followed by helpfulness, justice, responsibility, patience, friendship, self-control, respect and love. In the light of the findings which were detected, it was concluded that the works which were examined were insufficient in terms of value transfer.
