Evaluation of in-service training attitudes and job satisfaction levels of personnel working in health institutions

The aim of the research is to investigate the in-service training attitude and job satisfaction levels of the personnel working in health institutions. Data vere collected by applying a questionnaire including Introductory Information Form, In-Service Training Scale and Job Satisfaction Scale. In this study, in which the screening method was used the universe consisted of 11974 personnel working in Ankara City Hospital. The study was carried out on a sample of 412 people, above the number determined according to the stratified sampling method, and the analysis was carried out using SPSS 26 and SPSS AMOS 26 programs. Descriptive statistics, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Kruskal Wallis Test, Independent Sample t Test, Pearson Correlation Analysis and Regression analysis were used in the analyzes. According to the findings, it has been determined that there is a weak relationship between the in-service training attitudes of health personnel and their job satisfaction. In addition, it was concluded that an increase of 1 unit in the in-service training attitude of health personnel increases job satisfaction by 0,305 units. As a result, in order to increase the job satisfaction of health personnel, in-service trainings can be updated every year and training can be given by different people in different ways, opinions of health personnel can be obtained on how the training should be given and the needs and expectations of health personnel can be tried to be met within the framework of the legislation.
