Abstract (EN)

This research has been done in order to determine the regeneration methods neccessary to apply for successful reproduction of alder. In this research, randomly chosen 15 neighbouring test fields whose area is 400 m² (20 x 20) were decided. Three experimental designs were established in 12 of these test fields with the purpose of natural regeneration and in other three with the purpose of artificial regeneration. In purpose of natural rejeneration 3 fields were clear cutted and felled, and crown cover was reduced down to 0,3 in three fields, 0,5 in other three fields, and 0,7 in other three fields. In addition, test fields on which artificial regeneration were done were cutted clear and cleaned cover crop, 1+0 bare-root seedling of alders were planted. As a result of the study, it has been found that there were no problems in fields where natural growing were done in bringing the Alnus glutinosa establishment in each stand of wetland alders whose crown cover are 0,7;0,5;0,3; and 0,0. When young crops number and success are taken into consideration, it was determined that natural regeneration should be preferred rather than artificial regeneration.
