Abstract (EN)
The use of the Internet has become increasingly widespread in recent years. This situation has revealed cyberloafing fact in terms of causing employees to use the internet in non-business areas. There are research results on how cycberloafing affects job satisfaction in both positive and negative ways. In this research, after gathering a general knowledge about cyberloafing and job satisfaction, it has been tried to determine the relationship between cyberloafing and job satisfaction. The research has been carried out by analyzing the data collected through questionnaire technique applied to 213 officers and academicians in Aksaray University. As a result of the research, it has been seen that the use of internet for recreational purposes which is the subscale of cyberloafing has no effect on job satisfaction and the abuse-liable internet usage and the ambiguous internet usage have negative effects, even a little, on job satisfaction which is dependent variable.
