A review of studies on the relationship between art and giftedness with the method of bibliometric analysis

In the present study, "bibliometric analysis of the studies on the relationship between art and giftedness" was carried out. The study was designed as a case study from qualitative research designs. The general situation of the studies on the subject published in the international datebases Web Of Science and Scopus was evaluated comprehensively and a comparison was made between the two databases. Although there are bibliometric studies on giftedness in the literature, there is no bibliometric analysis study on the relationship between art and giftedness in particular. The studies examined within the scope of the research werw conducted on the data obtained from the studies indexed in WoS and Scopus academic databases and VOSviewer program was used to analyze the data. On 30.01.2024, the concepts of "art$ and gifted*" were used as keywords, and 256 articles in the WoS database and 331 articles in the Scopus database were reached based on the studies between 2013-2023. The data obtained from the WoS and Scopus databases werw analyzed in terms of publication types, publication language analysis, most influential journals analysis, most influential articles analysis, keyword analysis, most influential countries analysis, most productive institutions analysis, co- citation analysis of cited references, co-citation analysis of cited sources,co-citation of cited authors.
