Abstract (EN)

There has been increasing intrest in renewable energy sources, because, fossil fuels pollute to the our enviromental qualıty.Therefore the share of new and clean energy sources in the total energy consumptıon is increasing. In thıs study , we performed pyrolysis of sweet tree bvia fast pyrolysis .We investigated effects of particle size, pyroysis temperature and sweep gas flow rate on the pyrolysis product yields.Product obtained from fast pyrolysis of sweet trees were investigated as a renewable energy sources and chemical feed stock. The reactor was heated at a heating rate of 200 °C per minute to a pyrolysis temperature of 400, 500, 600 and 700 °C. Experiments show that pyrolysis yields and conversion efficiencies depended mainly on pyrolysis temperature and 600 °C was the most suitable for decomposition of the hazelnut cupula to reach maximum oil yield.
