Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, some physical and chemical properties of Sarısungur Pond have been investigated. For this purpose, seasonal water samples have been taken from 6 stations in the period of September (2018) - June (2019). During the research period, water temprature, pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen amount and oxygen saturation were determined by the evaluation of the field. The amount of nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, total nitrogen and phosphate were determined by spectrophotometric analysis in the laboratory. The distribution of the data obtained as result of the analyzes according to seasons and stations are expressed in tables and figureas. The physical and chemical data obtained as a result of our studies in Sarısungur Pond have been evaluated according to Continental Water Resources Quality Criteria. In general, parameters I and II belong to the Water Quality Class. However, in some stations of the pond in terms of some parameters, some seasonal III water quality characteristics were detected.
