Factors affecting satisfaction with the housing purchased and the regulatory role of income: An application in Adıyaman city center

The aim of this study; The aim of this study is to reveal the thoughts of the factors affecting the housing purchase of the people living in Adıyaman on their satisfaction with they bouguht the house. Within the scope of the study, it is aimed to reveal whether the income level of the people has a moderated role in the relationship between the factors affecting the purchase of a house and the satisfaction with the purchased house. In particular, the satisfaction levels of people who buy houses are affected by the culture of the society in which they lived. On the other hand, it is thought that the attitudes of people towards satisfaction with the purchased house are different in Turkish culture from Western culture. In this direction, a new scale has been developed to measure the satisfaction of individuals with the house they bought in accordance with Turkish culture. In this direction, first of all, in order to develop an original scale, by making use of the basic resources and the scale development studies in the literature; A three-stage method consisting of creating an item pool, structuring the scale and evaluating the scale was used. The content validity was ensured by consulting the expert opinion of the created item pool. Afterwards, a pilot application was made to 119 people and it was decided to start the basic implementation. Data were collected by the survey form method, which was conducted with 450 people living in Adıyaman and owning houses. The obtained data were analyzed with statistical methods. The validity and reliability of the scale used in the study were ensured. In the next stage, 8 hypotheses developed in accordance with the research model were tested. Hayes Process Macro program was used to test the hypotheses. Model 4, that is,moderated impact analysis, was used in the related program. As a result of the analysis, 5 items were supported. In this study, the "satisfaction scale with the purchased house" consisting of 52 items consisted of two stages, including scale development and the application of the developed scale in the field.
