Abstract (EN)
Powder metallurgy is a frequently used manufacturing method today. The manufacturing industry has a great proposition in terms of the industry. It is the most advantageous method in terms of manufacturing costs especially for the production of small, complex shaped and composite materials. By changing the sintering parameters and techniques by using the powder metallurgy manufacturing method, the mechanical and microstructure properties of the materials are changed in the desired direction. This method is very important for the industry. The amount of porosity in products produced by powder metallurgy seriously affects the structural properties of the product. In this thesis, hardness, density, 3 point bending, fracture surfaces, MAP and XRD studies and micro and macro structural forms of materials were investigated. In this study, it was observed that the AgCd added matrix of Co-Ni-Bz played an enhancing role on the matrix strength. In addition to the ratio of AgCd, which plays a role in increasing the strength of the matrix, it has been observed that the sintering temperature is also an increasing factor in the matrix strength. With the increase in sintering temperature, AgCd in the matrix forms a liquid phase to fill the macro and microporosities, thus increasing the density of the matrix. As a result, the mechanical properties of the material have been observed to increase due to the increase of the sintering temperature and the resulting liquid phase depending on the amount of AgCd added.
