The impact of city and cultural trips on cultural sensitivity

Today, every family, workplace, system, organization, city, region, country etc. Has a distinctive own culture. For this reason, cultural awareness has become an important concept for our society to have a good interaction and communication at every level to be able to create synergy. In this context, the aim of this study is to examine the cultural sensitivity of culture trips that organized by youth centers with in Youth and Sports Ministry. Cultural sensitivities were measured before and after the tour on the group of 109 people organized by the youth center of Mardin Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate in Çanakkale, Denizli and Nevşehir provinces, and the changes in cultural sensitivity levels and the demographic variables effective on this change were detemined. According to the findings, it was determined that participants' education levels were effective in changing the cultural sensitivity level. Within the scope of the research the city and culture trips organized have made a positive impact on the youth and suggestions for better and effective arrangement of the trips were given.
