Abstract (EN)
In the information and information age of today's world, technology is developing day by day and the borders between countries in the world are removed and the travel of individuals becomes easier. With the conditions brought by today's global competition environment, urban consumption comes to the fore as a result of the intense use of cities by local people and tourists. For this reason, the effect of consumption organizations in the city on the success factors of city tourism is wondered. In this study, the relationship between the consumption of cities and city tourism is presented through Istanbul, one of the most densely populated cities in Turkey. Within the scope of this study, a survey was conducted with 420 personnel working in tourism enterprises serving in Istanbul. IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 package program and Lisrel 8.7 package program were used for the analysis of the questionnaires. In order to reveal the research findings, descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests and regression analyses were performed. Based on linear regression analysis, the model was tested, and it was seen that city consumption factors had a positive and significant effect on the success of city tourism.
