Abstract (EN)

Today where traditional novel understanding has given way to modern novel understanding, narrator types also change in literary works. Traditional narrator types give way to modern narrator types. In this study, which was carried out to determine whether the narrator types used in the Bodrum Tetralogy series written by Selim İleri match up with the narrator types used in modern novels, answer for the question of "How are the narrator profiles in the novels main titled Selim İleri's Bodrum Tetralogy in terms of point of view and narrative techniques, (stream of consciousness) technique?" was sought. " This research, in which the narrator types of Selim İleri's Bodrum Tetralogy were examined according to point of views and stream of consciousness technique, was designed according to the qualitative approach and conducted according to the scanning method. Document analysis was used as the data gathering method in the research. The obtained data were worked out and evaluated with descriptive analysis and content analysis techniques. In the stage of determining the narrator types and the stream of consciousness in Selim İleri's Bodrum Tetralogy, his books named "Her Gece Bodrum", "Ölüm İlişkileri", "Cehennem Kraliçesi" and "Bir Akşam Alacası" form the scope of the study. It was concluded that the narrator types and point of view required by the modern novel, and the stream of consciousness technique to describe an individual was used appropriately.
