Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the level of leisure involvement and job satisfaction in life coaches who regularly participate in recreational physical activities and to test the differences in these levels according to various demographic variables. The participant group of the study consisted of 382 life coaches determined by convenience sampling method. The leisure involvement scale (LIS) and job satisfaction scale (JSS) were used as data collection tools. In the data analysis, Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was calculated to examine the internal consistency of the measurement tools. Due to the multiple normality distribution of the data set, MANOVA, t-Test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation tests were applied to compare the participants' leisure involvement and job satisfaction according to their demographic characteristics. TUKEY test was used to determine the differences between the groups. According to the results of the MANOVA test, a significant difference was found only in the total scores of the LIS according to the variables "income" and "regular participation in physical activity". As a result of the t-test, no significant difference was found in the total scores of the JSS according to any variable, while according to the ANOVA results, a significant difference was found only in the JSS scores according to the variable "frequency of weekly participation in physical activity". According to the Pearson Correlation test conducted to evaluate the relationship between LIS and JSS scores, there was a low and high correlation between LIS and JSS.
