In parallel with the commercial life that developed with globalization, corporate law has developed and become complex and various conflicts have emerged among companies. The majority of these disputes stem from the abuse of legal entities and limited liability institutions in corporate law. Although the legislator has included direct regulations in the law in order to prevent abuse of legal entity and eliminate its consequences, the principle of separation and limited liability principle established between the company and its partners by the separation of the "veil" between the company and its partners is ensured in order to ensure concrete event justice in cases where such regulations are inadequate. needs to be reached. It is frequently applied in the United Kingdom and the United States, which is also a source of theory. Although it is accepted in the Continental European legal system over time, the theory of lifting the corporate veil is; practitioners are still welcomed by some. Similarly in the doctrine, there are very few studies on theory. In the current studies, it is understood that the general reasons that justify the theory of pitch separation are discussed. With this thesis, it is aimed to eliminate the current contradictions of the practitioners in the application of the theory, to reveal the scope of the theory and to guide the practitioners. In this context, previously published articles, journals, books, theses related to the subject have been collected, inferences have been made over them and the points of view of the different legal systems and the high judicial decisions guiding the issue have been mentioned.
