Vocabulary on Sermet Muhtar Alus's work Istanbul Kazan Ben Kepçe reviews

Vocabulary is formed as a result of the reflection of a nation's cultural accumulation into its language. Elements found in the vocabulary of the language; It gives us people's lives, their customs and traditions, and their relationship with the world. In other words, when we examine the Vocabulary of a language, we gain knowledge in many areas, from the clothes worn by the people who live and communicate in the geography where that language is spoken, to the food they eat. Apart from this, vocabulary studies; It also contributes to comparisons between languages ​​and societies, geography with the names of places and natural events in the work, and folklore with folk beliefs and folk culture motifs. As can be seen, vocabulary studies are a field of study that brings with it interdisciplinary work. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the vocabulary of Sermet Muhtar Alus's work Istanbul Kazan Ben Kepçe. As a result of scanning the work, the vocabulary elements were classified with the help of tables as a whole within themselves. As a result of this classification, the frequency of the author's vocabulary elements was determined through graphs.
