Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it is aimed to synthesize sulfonate ester derivatives of sesomol, which is important biologically and synthetically. For this purpose, the synthesis of sesamol derivative sulfonate esters 81-84 were successfully carried out by reacting sesamol with sulfonyl chlorides. As a result of inhibition studies performed on the carbonic anhydrase isozyme CAI and CAII enzymes of sesamol derivative 81-84 molecules, it was found that 81-84 was effective on these enzymes at the level of nM. The molecules obtained within the scope of this thesis were purified by crystallization method and their structures were determined by NMR and IR spectra.
