Abstract (EN)
The first examples of the masnavi verse form, which was introduced to our literature from Persian literature, began to be given in the XIth century. Mesnevi, which became quite widespread in the XIVth century, became the most preferred verse form in Anatolia. In fact, many poets of this century had at least one masnavi even though they did not have a divan. Seyhoglu Mustafa, who grew up in the territory of Germiyanogulları in the XIVth century, also has a famous masnavi called Hursidname, although he did not have a divan. The work was written for Süleyman Shah, the ruler of Germiyan; however, it was presented to the Ottoman Sultan Yıldırım Bayezid upon the death of Shah before 789/1387. At a time when it was popular to write masnavi on religious and mystical subjects, Seyhoglu wrote a masnavi on love under the influence of Iranian poets. In Hursidname, the Hursid's lover of Ferahsad, the son of the Padisah of Maghrib, and Hursid, the daughter of Siyavus, the Persian Shah, who fall in love without seeing each other, and the obstacles and difficulties encountered on the way to their reunion are described. In the first part of this study, firstly, Seyhoglu Mustafa's life, literary personality and his works are briefly given and then Hursidname is analyzed in terms of its form and language features. In the second part, which is the main subject of the study, the transcription text of the Hursidname copy in the National Library of France (Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand), record number Turc 314 was prepared and introduced.
