Abstract (EN)
This study provides fundamental conceptual insights into fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets, elaborating on the structure and properties of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, which enable a more comprehensive modeling of uncertainty and hesitation. Within this framework, intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS and intuitionistic fuzzy VIKOR methods, tailored for multi-criteria decision-making problems, are discussed. The selection of Tiny House types is formulated as a multi-criteria decision-making problem requiring the evaluation of numerous criteria. Based on a review of the relevant literature and expert opinions, eight criteria were identified: technical infrastructure, material and construction quality, sustainability, functionality, aesthetics, safety, privacy and interaction, and cost. Using these criteria, five different Tiny House alternatives were evaluated through intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Initially, the intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS method was applied to derive the performance ranking of the alternatives, revealing that the Cabin/Cottage/Bungalow type emerged as the most preferable option. Subsequently, the same dataset was analyzed using the intuitionistic fuzzy VIKOR method, which also identified the Cabin/Cottage/Bungalow type as the most favorable alternative. The consistency of the results obtained from both methods underscores the reliability of the applied approaches and validates the robustness of the decision-making process based on intuitionistic fuzzy evaluations.
