Siirt People's House and its activities

After the accomplishment of the Turkish War of Independence and the foundation of the new Turkish Republic, lots of institutions were founded in social life for to be active in the social,cultural,pedagogical areas. The common aim of, nearly all these institutions is to develop the community, who just came around from the war of Independence, in all respects. And also the aim of these institutions is to upgrade the level of civilization, reciprocal both community and government. In this process; the founded community centres planned to develop the community socially, culturally,pedagogically. With this study; in general, the founding stages, the conduct of the community centres also in details, the community centre that was founded in Siirt and its socio-cultural activities will be studied.
