Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of silane compund (2-Amino-trimet. Silane) addition on physical and mechanical properties Particleboard produced in laboratuary conditions was investigated. İn a two different way as silane compound was added into adhesive or pretreted with wood particles. For both, silane was added by 1%, 2% and 3% into the samples interms of dry matter. According the results, internal bonding strenght was increased with addition of silane. The higest increase was seen in 3% silane addition. Pretreatment of the chips provided beter internal bonding than treatment of adhesive. For bendingstrenght similar results were obtained. The hihghest value was found in 2% silane addition. Pretreatment also gave beter results. Also, moduls of elasticity, inrease was observed with addition of sillane. The highest MOE value was determined in %12 adhesive, 2% pretreated silane sample increased silane addition showed beter results. Overall, the highest phisical and mechanical properties was obtained from 11% adhasive ratio, and 3%silane sample boards.Key words : Particle board, Silan, Phisical properties, Mechanical properties.
