Abstract (EN)

The history of ceramic materials in the world goes back to old times, and today its production and use continues to increase. They have a very common usage area today. Plates, glasses, furniture handles, etc., generally known to all. on the contrary, technical porcelains are used in many areas. For example, technical porcelains (insulators) are used for the intercity transportation of electricity or for the isolation of electricity in many different areas. However, porcelains are difficult to manufacture. As rigid materials, they cannot be integrated into different areas. This situation leads to different needs. In this thesis, studies have been carried out for the production of technical porcelains and silicone rubbers as a composite in the insulator sector. The insulator body must be rigit. For this reason, its body is made of porcelain. Silicone rubber was used in areas where the insulator should be flexible. In summary, in this study, silicon rubber coating studies were carried out on the porcelain surface. Two different lining materials were used. Materials were produced by coating silicone rubbers using water-based and solvent-based primers on glass-glaze coated porcelain and porcelain without coating. It was characterized by tensile tests, electrical insulation tests and hot-cold dip tests.
