Abstract (EN)

In the light of developments in computer and laser technology, terrestrial laser scanners have been extensively used in mapping sector. Especially, three-dimensional position data of objects have been obtained as a fast and reliable and modeling of objects that make this method effective. In this study, it has been investigated that scan measuring of terrestrial laser scanners have been given how a result on the cylindrical structures. It was chosen Curve Minaret in Aksaray as cylindrical structure. Curve Minaret has been scanned from five different points. Two separate scans have been done more from balconies of two buildings, because, the Curve Minaret was higher. Later, these scannings have been evaluated by Scanmaster and PolyWorks software. All point clouds belong to object have been combined in evaluation result. Standard deviation in the point clouds have been computed below one cm. a three-dimensional model of the Curve Minaret was obtained. It was seen that modeling of cylindrical structures by terrestrial laser scanners, could have been easily used in the event of selecting the appropriate scan points.
