Abstract (EN)

In this work, symmetrical and asymmetric pyrrole compounds and their Cu (II), Ni (II), Co (II) metal derivatives were synthesized. For this purpose, firstly 2,6-diaminopyridine compound and 2,5-hexadione compounds were mixed in methanol, 1:1 in the ratio of and in the presence of HCl, finally asymetric pyrrole compound (1) was obtained. Then, the compounds 2,5-hexadione and 2,6-diaminopyridine were mixed in methanol, subsequently HCl were added in the mixture under nitrogen atmosphere, in conclusion symmetrical pyrrole compound (2) was obtained. Later on, 1,2-phenylenediamine compound and 2,5-hexadione compound were reacted under the same conditions 1:1 and 1:2 ratios respectively, the other asymmetric pirrol derivative (3) and symmetric pirrol derivative (4) were obtained. The synthesis of the (5) was performed by a reaction of (1) with [Cu(ClO4)2.6H2O] compound in MeOH at 70 oC. The synthesis of the (6) and (7) were performed under the same conditions by a reaction of (1) with [Ni(ClO4)2.6H2O] and [Co(ClO4)2.6H2O] compounds. Using the same method, (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16) complexes were obtained by the reactions of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II) salts with (2), (3) and (4) compounds. The structures of all these original compounds were identified by using elemental analysis, mass spectrometer magnetic suseptibilite, 1H-NMR, IR, and UV-vis spectroscopic data. Also, the free ligands and metal complexes were tested against to bacteria and fungi for determining their antimicrobial activities.
