Abstract (EN)
FFilms serve as an artistic representation of humanity and a vehicle for the dissemination of both personal and societal viewpoints. It is also easy to examine the issues that women face in the workplace because to this move. Women's active participation in public life after the industrial revolution is problematic in many ways, particularly culturally. Because both genders are represented in the social field, there are inequalities between the levels of participation in social life between men and women within the dynamics of social life. This representation can be seen particularly in film, where the male gaze's predominance is more obvious The phenomenon of women has been portrayed in a variety of ways since Turkish cinema's early years of cinematography. Women who battled and were dedicated to their spouses and homes were portrayed in the 1960s melodramas; in the 1970s, socialist realistic films were made on the difficulties and working lives of women who had to adapt to a new life after immigration or struggled for survival in slums. Women's job lives, low pay, caring for their children, and their struggles with traditional thinking are all depicted in such realistically written films. Despite working, the lady was married, respected the integrity ofthe marriage institution, and remained close to a guy in the community. The movies Contrarily, the films made in the 1980s were different from those made in earlier decades in that they dealt with women's working lives in greater detail and portrayed them as conscious of their rights and liberties. The issues faced by women in the workplace over time have also been observed thanks to the shifting perceptions in film. The most noticeable aspect of the films, in addition to the periodic changes in work life, is how working women experience issues not because they are employees but rather because they are women. In the films shown, women are subjected to sexual harassment by their employers, shift supervisors, or other supervisors in their places of employment, and and they lose their jobs when they report this issue since they are not believed. However, since the goal of the research is to provide an intersectional view of the problems faced by women workers and to pinpoint the issues that arise as a result of the jobs they hold, it was preferred that the films chosen focus primarily on the role of the worker in the working lives of women. The study's objective is to use Turkish films to explore issues facing female workers from a social work viewpoint. The paucity of industrial social work practice, the absence of social work in the workplace, and the dearth of employment opportunities for women inThe inclusion of social work in this study is necessary because of female workers in social policy.
