Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to reveal the effects of the sources used for bioenergy production, which has attracted attention in recent years, on energy security, food safety and the environment in order to reduce the negative effects of increasing emissions on the environment and to diversify energy supply sources. For this purpose, Turkey's bioenergy-food security-energy security-environment-population system dynamics simulation model was created in order to examine the effects of changes in bioenergy resource use on the determined variables, through the example of Turkey. By testing policy scenarios on the model created, it has been tried to determine how the changes in bioenergy resource use affect the determined variables from 2021 to 2050. It has been determined that the results obtained are compatible with the literature. According to the results of the tried scenario, it was observed that the variables were affected from different aspects depending on the use of bioenergy resources. In addition, it has been seen that bioenergy supply has the potential to affect many sectors in many ways. As a result, it has been seen that a sustainable policy in which all variables are considered together can positively affect food safety, energy security, the environment and other related variables.
