Abstract (EN)
Political parties are considered the cornerstones of modern democratic systems. These parties are organizations that are organized around a specific ideology or program and aim to gain power through elections. This thesis aims to examine the relationship between the formation of political parties and the political conjuncture. The political context refers to the general political and economic environment during a specific period, and this environment significantly influences the parties' programs, strategies, and voter behavior. The main objective of this thesis is to examine the role of the political context in the formation of political parties. In this context, the effects of changes in the political context, and particularly developments in the economy, on political parties will also be evaluated. Using the example of Turkey, the thesis will analyze how political parties have been shaped in the period from 2014 to the present and the role of the political climate in this shaping. Thus, the aim is to better understand the mutual interaction between the formation of political parties and the political climate.
