Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study is to see classroom teachers' views on nature of science and if these opinions changing or not, when affected by variables. In this research, mixed research method, which used a combination of qualitative and quantitative designs, is used. The research samples consist the three hundred twenty one classroom teachers who worked in Söke, Aydın during the 2014-2015 academic year. "Nature of Science Measure" which is developed by Özgelen (2013) and comprises of eleven sub-dimensions and thirty propositions and quadruple scalings is used to determine the participants views. Made semi-structured interviews with the thirty-two classroom teachers to deepen the research results. To analyse data Statistical Package For the Social Sciences (SPSS 20.0) schedule is used. Also Kolmogorov Smirnov test is used to see if the datas parametric or not parametric. Not parametric test methods are used because the test values are lower than 0,05. For comparison between groups Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests are used qualitative datas analyzed with descriptive analysis. In the result of analysis, it has been seen that classroom teachers' view about nature of science showed understandable differences in schools they graduated,lab conditions in these schools and the academic periods of these schools,on the other varieties didn't show any difference.
