Elementary school teachers attitudes toward vocational organization (union): As a sample of Uşak province

The purpose of this study was to investigate elementary teachers? attitudestoward vocational organization (techer unions). Their vocational organization attitudeswere closely examined at the base of gender, the nember years that they have worked asteacher, and the schools they were graduated. The reasons of elementary teachersorganized vocationally were elaborately studied at the membership status, choosingteacher unions, and the expectations from unions. While elementary teachers show nodifference in gender being a member or not in a teacher organization, the number ofyears they have worked and the schools they graduated to become a teacher indicatedifferences in the attitudes toward organize vocationally.Key Words: Elementary Teachers, Vocational Organization (Teacher Unions)
