Opinions related to reading writing methods applied by class teachers who have mainstreaming students in their class

In this research, aims to determine the reading-writing skills offered to the mainstreaming students, which methods are used in the teaching, which materials are supported with teaching, instructional adaptations / instructional arrangements are made in the teaching process , which assessment and evaluation tools are used, The aim of this course is to present the problems encountered during the teaching of reading and writing. The research is a qualitative study conducted on 40 class teachers who have inclusion students in the classrooms in central district of Erzurum: Yakutiye, Aziziye and Palandöken. In this research, semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool and the data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, all of the teachers who participated in the study used the Ses Temelli Cümle Yöntemi / Ses Esaslı Cümle Tekniği in their reading and writing teaching, and they focused on visual materials, source books and videos, especially on smart boards and applications. It has been determined that teachers do not use diffirent materials for their mainstreaming students. while teachers take into consideration the observations for students as well as written and oral examinations in the assessment and evaluation stage. It was determined that the teachers had problems with their class sizes, lack of education related to special education, lack of appropriate materials and resources for inclusion students. In addition, it was determined that the class teachers did not make enough instructional arrangements in the classroom for the mainstreaming students .
