Recent period example of Turkey Ahl al-sunnah-Salafism interaction

Recently, many thinkers in Turkey religious understanding rightly and revealing new interpretations and opinions in an effort to live and explain. This situation has been a continuing process in every period after the death of the Prophet (pbuh). This is a natural resûlt of Allah Almighty's creation of every human being with a different intelligence. People who act in an effort to practice religion correctly have gathered around views that appeal to them and have become groups. Ahl al-sunnah wa'l-jamaah, which is the way of the People after the death of the Prophet (pbuh), contains many different opinions and interpretations. Salafism, one of them, was used for those who followed the path of companions and successor after the death of the Prophet, and in later periods it was used in different meanings. In particular, his conservative attitude towards religious issues, which he brought from the past, has been observed today as a strict attitude towards innovations and otherization. This effect has also appeared on thinkers and congregations who claim to be Ahl al-sunnah, as well as those who accept that they are Salafists. Many dangers have been encountered in terms of the consequences of marginalization. Such as the damage to the unity and solidarity of the Islamic society, the inability to produce new ideas about the life of the religion, and the confinement of the Ahl al-sunnah thought tradition in a narrowing frame. This study will initially be given Ahl al-sunnah and Salafism information by using classical sources and current studies. Furthermore, its strict and othering attitude towards innovations which are the most important result of Salafi interaction will be examined from social media tools in the example of recent Turkey.
