Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a landslide occurred on the right shore of Gümüşhane Şiran Çevrepınar Dam, and the reason for the landslide was modeled in the PHASE and SLIDE Program with the Finite Element Method after field laboratory examinations, and the most appropriate one was selected by solving with three different analyses. The system was analyzed with the data in the laboratory results of the existing ground and it shed light on our solution alternatives. In this thesis, it is aimed to analyze the existing landslide with three different alternatives in the light of the finite element method and determine the most appropriate production and how to protect it. Through numerical modeling conducted using PHASE2 and SLIDE software, the effects of factors such as soil properties and topographic slope on the landslide were thoroughly analyzed. The safety factors obtained from these analyses enabled the prediction of potential soil behavior and allowed for a comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of various remediation methods. Consequently, engineering solutions aimed at preventing the recurrence of the landslide were proposed based on scientific data and tailored to site-specific conditions. The findings of this study serve as a guiding framework for future engineering projects in regions with similar geological characteristics and provide valuable contributions to regional risk management practices.
