Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY Using Diversity to Combat Fading Effects on Wireless Communication System This report represents a framework for using diversity to combat fading effects on wireless communications. Advantages and disadvantages of different diversity methods are tried to demonstrate. Although more diversity methods are discussed in this report only maximal ratio combining (MRC), space-time block coded diversity and selection diversity are simulated. BER perfonmances of simulated diversity methods are presented. There is Rayleigh fading and QPSK modulated signal is assumed in simulation. Space between multiple transmit and multiple receive antennas effects channel correlation coefficient so channel correlation coefficient is included simulation. Key Words: Fading, Rayleigh, Maximal Ratio Combining, Selection Diversity, Space Time Block Coded Diversity, Channel Correlation, Time Diversity, Frequency Diversity VII
