Social studies teacher and student evaluation of teaching museum of use of opinions: Museums Afyonkarahisar

The purpose of this study, the teaching of social studies teachers' and students' perspectives on the use of a museum, a museum trip to the teachers and students, the museum organizes trips to participate in hardships in terms of various variables to examine their views on the causes. The study sampling consists of 577 secondary school students on 6th, 7th and 8th grades who have been studying at central secondary schools of Afyonkarahisar, have different social and economical characteristics, and have attended museum trips and 423 secondary 6th, 7th and 8th grades who also have different social and economical characteristics, and have not attended museum trips, and 65 social sciences teachers who teach at secondary schools in Afyonkarahisar. The data is the teaching of social studies teachers' views on the use of museum information collection form I, the teaching of social studies students' opinions regarding the use of museum information collection form II, the teachers visit the museum experienced difficulties in organizing their ideas about the museum field trips of students to participate in gathering information about the reasons of form III and IV views were collected using data collection form. Descriptive statistical analysis of available data, independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance (One-Way Anova) was used. The results of data analysis are as follows: consistency of some items was observed between teacher and student views. Visits to a museum where students' expectations of girls and 8th grade students to further participate in museum activities were less. Three times a year, and more trips to the museum to the majority of students or teachers in the school they visited museums passes through guided visits to museums and reached more efficiently. By seniority of teachers with 11 years or more trips to the museum to be more important trips to museums and their teachers has been concluded to be due to the great problem of crowded classes.Key Words: Social Studies, Museum, Teachers, Students
