Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the self-efficacy of social studies teachers towards educational technology standards and observe their tendencies towards technology use in their lessons in terms of various variables. In this survey, the self-efficacy of the Social Studies teachers working in private secondary schools and public secondary schools in Burdur Provincal centre in 2020-2021, and the tendencies towards technology use in their lessons were examined in terms of various variables. Research was conducted using relational screening model. Determining Educational Technology Standards developed by Çoklar and Odabaşı (2009) to show the congruent validity of the "Educational Technologies Standards" scale, which was created based on the educational technology standards that teachers should have determined byThe International Society for Technology in Education [ISTE] to determine the educational technology standards of Social Studies teachers. Scale (ETSS) was used. In order to determine the teachers' use of technology in their lessons, the "Factors Affecting Teachers' Teaching with Technology" scale developed by Angeli and adapted into Turkish by writes (2008) was used. The scales used were applied to the social studies teachers of all public secondary schools and private secondary schools working in Burdur Province in 2020-2021. As a result of the research, when the educational technology standards are considered according to age, it has been concluded that young teachers have beter educational technology standards than older teachers. Besides,it was determined that the educational technology standards of female and male teachers showed a statistically significant difference in favor of male teachers. It has been determined that the teachers who have worked between 1-5 years according to the years of service have a beter level of educational technology standards than the teachers who have worked longer in the profession. In terms of the factors affecting the teaching of teachers with technology in their lessons, it was concluded that teachers with 1-5 years of seniority use technology more in their lessons, and male teachers use technology more in their lessons.Various suggestion shave been made to Social Studies Teachers in order for Social Studies Teachers to be better at Technology know led geanditsuse.
