Abstract (EN)

Social exclusion is generally defined as the weakness or absence of individuals' relations with society. On the other hand social exclusion is a multidimensional, relative, dynamic and complex concept. Because of this structure of social exclusion it is really hard to define it. Poverty is a multidimensional problem that is both social exclusion and a global problem which is a part of social exclusion. Social exclusion and poverty should be examined together as a result of global transformations. Since social exclusion and poverty affects women more than men, female poverty is important. In this context, women's poverty is not only a budget problem. The deprivation of women's opportunities in the social, cultural and political spheres they live in is also directly related to women's poverty. Therefore, this study examines women's poverty and social exclusion together. In this study are discussed Roma women who are most exposed to social exclusion and female poverty. The aim of the study is to examine the social life of Roma women, their working and educational conditions and to determine whether there is a connection between social exclusion and female poverty.
