Perceptions of students of faculty of sport sciences regarding organizational image of universities

This study was conducted to investigate the organizational image perceptions of Hitit University Faculty of Sport Sciences students in their own universities. Research; The mean age was 21.01 ± 2.24 and the participants were 150 women and 336 men with the participation of students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences. Personal information form and Örgüt Organizational Image Scale for University Students "were used in the study. As a data collection tool; It Organizational Image Scale for University Students Cer developed by Cerit (2006) was used. The scale consists of three sub-dimensions: Çevre Academic Environment "," Physical and Social Environment "and" Social Perception ". The scale consisted of 5 Likert-type questions and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 9042. When the obtained data were analyzed; it was found that the perceptions of organizational image scale and its sub-dimensions did not differ according to gender, active sporting status, type of sport, parenting education, nationality and age. When the sections, class levels and number of siblings and mesh image scores of the participants were analyzed; There was a significant difference between the groups. It was found that the organizational images of the ones with 1 and 2-3 brothers were higher than the ones with 6 brothers, and it was determined that the highest score in the academic environment sub-dimension was obtained by sports management students and the coaching students had the lowest score. According to the results of correlation analysis; It was found that there is a negative relationship between the department and the number of siblings, physical and social environment, social perception sub-dimensions, and the general scale of organizational image. As a result; It can be said that Hitit University Faculty of Sport Sciences students' perceptions of organizational image towards their universities are positive.
