Abstract (EN)
This research investigates the impact of the mobile application industry on sports and recreation activities. In this context, the aim of the research is to evaluate sports and recreation areas more effectively and efficiently, to provide application content where individuals can access faster, practical and reliable data, to provide a competitive environment and combine social features and at the same time to encourage physical activity by increasing user participation, to encourage wider sports and The aim is to identify new sports mobile application design factors that are aimed to contribute to the technology ecosystem. The model of the research is case study. The population of the research consists of software developers, academicians, engineers and managers serving in the field of artificial intelligence and technology. Mobile application designers were included in the sample using criterion-based sampling and snowball sampling techniques. A total of 12 field experts from home and abroad participated in the research. Lawshe technique was used to prepare the interview questions, semi-structured interview was used as the data collection technique, and content analysis technique was preferred for analysis. The interviews were conducted in both Turkish and English. Content analysis of the result of semi-structured interviews was used. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the interviews, 70 codes were revealed and 14 themes were reached. As a result of the research, artificial intelligence and technology-based mobile application design for sports and recreation activities; user experience, visual design and aesthetics, data security and information visualization, user preferences, notification systems and updates, user interaction, personalization and availability, event reminders and route planning, marketing and promotions, emergency and critical alerts, social interaction and integration, gamification and entertaining contents, mass user base, problems and suggestions. Applying all these elements together will ensure the success of artificial intelligence and technology-based mobile applications for sports and recreation activities.
