Examination of peer bullying education levels of sports and sedentary students

Peer bullying is one of the increasing issues nowadays. As a result of increase in this problem, some studies have been discussed in the literature. There are a lot of educations and approaches to solve this problem, doing sports is one of them. Main purpose of this study is assessing the factors that related with education levels of 5-6-7th graders' peer bullying and effects towards to sedantary students. Target population of the study is secondary school affiliated with Muş National Education while it is targeted to reach 222 students studying in Muş National Education in 2022-23 education year as sample. In this research, Bullying Behaviour Tendency Scale (BBTS) was used. Survey data's frequency, percentage and meaningfulness is formed with SPSS 22 analysis programme. Independent Sample T- Test was used for pairwise comparison and for multiple comparisons, gained benefit from One Way Anova Test. The results was evaluated in ranges of 95% trust and p<0,05 meaningfulness. It was benefited from regression analysis to assess the correlation integratively. In this research, it can was reached that according to gender variety men shows more bullying behaviours than women; according to sports variety, individuals doing any sports face less bullying thanks to their grown self- confidence; according to branch variety, it hasn't been found any meaningful difference; according to variety of parents' education level, there is no correlation between parents' education level and peer bullying; lastly, according to age and class variety, as the age and grade goes up, peer bullying rate also increases.
