Abstract (EN)

Individuals throughout their lives embrace beliefs that have no relation to the truth in order to accept events they cannot control in their belief systems, social lives, and minds. This adoption has a conservative structure that influences all of a person's behaviors. Superstitious beliefs actually arise as a result of attributing unexplainable events to supernatural rofes, making individuals' worlds more livable. From this perspective, superstitious beliefs are a phenomenon in which humanity assigns all responsibility and stress in the subconscious to divine mechanisms. Individuals who cannot cope with their anxieties are more inclined towards superstitious beliefs and behaviors. Certainly, feelings such as anxiety and fear inherent in religion cannot be eradicated in us humans. However, the feeling of anxiety towards behaviors and beliefs that generally have no scientific or religious basis can somehow be reduced and directed. The main purpose of the research is to examine the superstitious beliefs and behaviors of rofessional football players, their levels of situational anxiety, and their situational and dispositional sporting self-confidence in terms of various variables and to determine the relationship between them. Keywords: Superstition Belief, Anxiety, Sportive Self Confidence
