ABSTRACT Investigation of Unconditional Self-Acceptance and Struggle and Threat Levels in Sports in Athletes The aim of the study is to determine the level of unconditional self-acceptance, struggle and threat in sports of university students studying at the Faculty of Sport Sciences. Another aim is to examine the relationship between concepts. Since the study includes the examination of the relationship between unconditional self-acceptance and the variables of struggle and threat in sports, it is thought that as a result of the findings, it will serve to eliminate the deficiencies in the relevant literature and will contribute to new researches. In this study, relational survey model, one of the general survey models, is used from quantitative research methods. The universe of the research will consist of students studying at Fırat University in the Spring Semester of 2021-2022. The sample consisted of undergraduate students studying at Fırat University, Faculty of Sports Sciences, in the spring term of the 2021-2022 academic year. In the process of collecting the data of this study, the "Volunteer Participant Form" together with the "Unconditional Self-Acceptance Scale" (KKÖ) and the Struggle and Threat in Sports Scale "" (SMTS) will be used. Analysis of Data The analysis of the data obtained with the measurement tools used in this study will be made using the SPSS 22. Of the 307 athletes participating in the research, 58.3% are male and 41.7% are female. The average score of the athletes participating in the study of struggle and threat perception in sports (3.60); The self-acceptance average of the athletes was found to be (4.37). No significant difference was found in the perception of MCC according to the gender variable. No difference was found in the perception of threat according to the gender variable in SMTÖ. In the threat sub-dimension, it was determined that women were higher than male athletes. It was determined that young athletes' perceptions of SMBL and Threat perceptions were higher in the age, sports age sports category, while the perception of struggle was higher in older athletes. Again, it was determined that conditional self-acceptance perceptions of young athletes were higher, while unconditional self-acceptance perceptions of older athletes were higher. It is also one of our study findings that the fighting spirit of the athletes is higher than the spirit of threat. It has been determined that young athletes are more affected by external influences in competitions. In addition, it has been determined that young athletes have higher motivation, acceptance, fear of misunderstanding, fear of making mistakes and mistakes, and this situation affects the success of young athletes and creates stress. It is recommended to carry out motivational studies that young athletes should accept themselves in all aspects during training and training times and that it is the normal flow of life. Motivational interviews are recommended for young athletes that the opponent and the competition should not be seen as a threat and that the threat negatively affects their fighting spirit.
