A research on effects of sport on socialization of educatible mental disabled children

Both our mental disabled and other disabled subjects show responsibility, cooperation and power of social concepts of a sociality, and they are not only in responsibility of their parents, but also they are in responsibility of all sociality. Nowadays, modernity level of a country does not predicted by looking of its economic values, it is depented on how they care to their disabled people. In the case of children who are future of a country, this issue becomes more important. Effects of sport on socialization of individuals have been basic topic of many researches. Effects of sport which is subjected to many research aimed to use it to rehabilitation and a method for physcological treatment on socialization of mental disabled children is subject of this research. In the research, 17 parents of educatible mental disabled children who are attempted to sport activities and 15 parents of educatible mental disabled children not attempting to sport activities are subjected to survey, and also in order to research effects of sport, another survey on children before and after sport activities were performed and it is aimed to evaluate effects of sport on children?s socialization. According to results of research, sport has effects on socialization of children and there is a significant relation between sport and socialization (p<0.05). Statically a significant difference between answers given to introduction of children itself; having apoligizing and thanking abilities and leadership abilities included socialization of children were found (p<0.05). In the answers related to view of parents to sport, there was a significant difference between answers on topoics of profits of sport to expression ability of child and socialization property of sport (p<0.05). In positive effects of sport, requiring of sport; it?s giving of happiness; giving ruled life and friendship topics were found (p<0.05).Key Words: Mental Disorders, Sport, Socialism, Additions of sport, Social-echonomy
