Abstract (EN)
Objective: Acute coronary syndrome is a fatal disease that can cause negative outcomes with high incidence. This study was planned to evaluate the short-term clinical effect of STEMI patients with acute coronary syndrome to determine prognosis in STEMI patients undergoing reperfusion with PKG in myocardial infarction with ST elevation. The aim of our study is to investigate the neutrophil / lymphocyte relationship with QRS fragmentation in ST elevation myocardial infarction. Method: Our study was performed with a 500 participiants. The study was planned retrospectively. The data were obtained from the hospital automation system and archive scans. The population divided into two groups as FQRS (+) and FQRS (-). The frequency of events such as MAKO, in-hospital death, non-lethal MI, stent thrombosis, slow flow, no- reflow, in-hospital VT, in-hospital VF, cardiogenic shock, cardiopulmonary arrest, and NLO levels were analyzed between the groups. Results: The study included 500 patients. The patient population was divided into two groups depending on whether it was fQRS or not. There were 207 patients in group 1 (FQRS -), and 293 patients in group 2 (FQRS +). The average age of group 1 was 61.1 ± 12.1, and the average age of group 2 was 66.7 ± 10.6. There was a significant difference was observed between the groups in terms of age (p <0.001). TIMI and GRACE risk scores were higher in group 2 than group 1(p = 0.002, p = 0.008, respectively). WBC and NLO were significantly higher in group 2 than group 1 (p <0.001). The ratio of MAKO, in-hospital death, in-hospital VT was higher in group 2 than group 1 (p <0.001). In logistic regression analysis, TIMI score, GRACE score, NLR, and HT were determined as independent predictors of STEMI (relative risk (RR): 2.885; 95% confidence interval (CI); 1.504-2.362, p<0.001; RR: 1.820; 95% CI; 1.006-2.333, p=0.004; RR: 1.478; 95% CI; 0.970-1.831, p=0.045; RR: 1.312; %95 CI; 0.807 - 1.921, p=0.050). Conclusion: Our study showed that the presence of FQRS and NLO in patients with STEMI has a significant role in prognosis and in-hospital clinical observation.
